About Me

I am a 30something married mother of three small children. I live in a large Canadian city in a nice neighbourhood and most of the time I’m “fine.”

…despite the devastating, crippling, faith-shaking losses of living people that seem to have characterized my family and friend relationships for the past several years, that is.  !
Happily, some of these have (dare I say it) improved, resolved even. But others still seem catastrophic and hopeless.

I know I am not alone.

I have a Master of Social Work and until becoming a stay-at-home-mom this year, I worked with all ages, from children to seniors, across all manner of circumstances for the last 15 years.  A common thread: relationships.  They are a fundamental part of humanity, and they are HARD.

I’m not the only one who struggles.

And I’m certain I’m not the only one who needs to get.it.out.of.me.

I have high hopes for this blog.  I can’t WAIT to start hearing from you. Yes, YOU.  Please join in the catharsis. You’ll be glad you did.

*PLEASE NOTE: This blog is not meant to replace professional supports that you may be receiving or benefit from accessing.  This is an avenue for expression and reaching peer support.  Please get professional help if you think you need it.  I’ve had therapy off and on for 2 decades, and I seem to never tire of talking about myself ;)
